Italian Chicken (Crock Pot/ Slow Cooker)

A family favorite. Adatped from Simple & Delicious.
Ingredients:
6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (about 8 ounces each)
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
3/4 cup water
2 tablespoons dried onion flakes
2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules
2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon
1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
3 tablespoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons water
hot cooked rice
Directions:
1. Place chicken in crock pot.
2. Combine the tomatoes, 3/4 cup water, onion, bouillon and seasonings and pour over chicken.
3. Cook on low for 3-4 hours.
4. Pour cooking juices from crock pot into a saucepan.
5. Combine cornstarch and 3 tablespoons of water until smooth.
6. Stir into cooking juices and bring to a boil.
7. Cook and stir until thickened.
8. Serve with chicken and rice.
