Italian Cheesecake With Cherries

ITALIAN CHEESECAKE WITH CHERRIES This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Smith Estate in Granbury, Texas in 1987.
Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 cup margarine melted
1/2 can cherry pie filling
1-1/2 cup ricotta cheese
4 large eggs
4 ounces cream cheese at room temperature
2/3 cup sugar
1 tablespoon flour
Directions:
1. Mix graham cracker crumbs and 1/2 cup melted margarine.
2. Place a piece of parchment on bottom of 8” spring form pan then press crumbs onto bottom.
3. Puree ricotta with eggs in a blender then add cream cheese and sugar and mix well.
4. Add melted butter and flour then blend in.
5. Put in a large bowl and gently stir in pie filling
6. Lightly grease side of pan and pour into prepared spring form pan.
7. Bake at 350 for 1 hour then remove from oven and let chill several hours before serving.
