My aunt gave me this recipe. Comes from an italian family that always makes this. Enjoy
Ingredients:
3 cups (1 1/2 pounds) ricotta cheese, full milk
2 -8 oz cream cheese
1 large sour cream ((about 16 ounce size)
6 eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon vanilla
8 tablespoons of flour
Directions:
1. Mix well.
2. Pour into well greased spring form pan.
3. Bake 350 for one hour
4. Turn oven off leave cake in oven for 1 more hour.
5. To serve: use fruit, can fruit, plain, cover in ganache.
6. This recipe is given as it was given to me.
7. No size on the sour cream. So I use large, not extra large size. About 16 ounces.
8. No size for spring pan was given. Depends on how thick you like the cake.
