The Isle of Pines renamed Isla de La Juventud in 1978 by Castro. 100 km south of Cuba; lies directly south of Havana and Pinar del Rio. Administered directly by the government of Cuba. Fantastic drink!

Ingredients:

1/2 teaspoon sugar

2 1/4 fluid ounces grapefruit juice

3 fluid ounces bacardi rum

crushed ice

Directions:

1. Combine sugar, grapefruit juice, and rum.
2. Shake well.
3. Pour over crushed ice in a very cold glass.
