Irish Soda Bread

Ingredients:
4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1 1/4 cups buttermilk
1/4 cup corn oil
2 teaspoons caraway seeds
1 cup golden raisin
1 tablespoon milk
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
2. Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with.
3. parchment paper.
4. In a large bowl, stir the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt together.
5. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, buttermilk, and oil together.
6. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the buttermilk mixture.
7. Add the caraway seeds and raisins.
8. Stir until a soft dough has formed.
9. Shape the dough into a large ball on a lightly floured board (flour your hands if necessary for easier handling).
10. With a sharp knife, make a cross on the top.
11. Place on the prepared pan.
12. Brush the top with the milk.
13. Bake in the center of the oven until golden brown, 30 to 40 minutes.
