I found this recipe in a healthy heart cookbook & thought it sounded interesting. The ginger ale gives it just a tinge of ginger flavour and a slight fizz on the tongue.
Ingredients:
2 teaspoons dry instant coffee
1 cup boiling water
3/4 cup skim milk
1/4 cup ginger ale
sugar or splenda sugar substitute
ice (optional)
Directions:
1. Combine coffee & water and allow to cool.
2. Stir in remaining ingredients.
3. Serve over ice.
