Ice cream with Caramelized Pineapple (Sandra Lee)

Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup rum
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 can crushed pineapple
1 pint vanilla ice cream
Directions:
1. In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, add sugar, rum, cinnamon, and pineapple; stir to combine. Being to a boil, reduce heat to medium and simmer 15 minutes.
2. Serve scoop of ice cream topped with caramelized pineapple sauce.
