Ice Cream in a Can

Very easy, and fun for kids. Cooking time is rolling time.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup whole milk
1 cup cream
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
crushed ice
salt (1/2 cup)
Directions:
1. Also requires 1 pound coffee can, well cleaned and 3 pound coffee can, well cleaned.
2. Combine all milk, cream, sugar, and vanilla in a small coffee can.
3. Place plastic lid on small coffee can and place inside 3 pound coffee can.
4. Pack space between cans with crushed ice and 1/4 cup salt.
5. Place lid on large can.
6. Roll back and forth for 10 minutes.
7. Stop and scrape inside of small can.
8. Drain water from large can and repack with ice and another 1/4 cup salt.
9. Roll 5 more minutes.
10. Enjoy!
