Hunted Fowl Gravy

Got from Angie but missed out the coconut .
Ingredients:
1 large size fowl - remove flesh as much as you can . it will add upto 1 medium size bowl . keep the boney part for some other dish ( salna )

roast and grind and
make a paste
1 small size big onion
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp split green gram dhal
1 tbsp uncooked rice
1/2 tbsp cumin seeds
1/2 tbsp fennel seeds
1 tbsp water
1 tbsp coconut ( optional )
1 big onion , sliced
1 tomatoe , sliced
2 tbsp sambar pwd
salt
Directions:
1. Fry the onion for 2 mins .
2. Add the tomatoe slices and fry for 1 min .
3. Add the sambar pwd .
4. Continue to fry for 2 mins .
5. Add the paste and fry until the oil leaves the sides .
6. Add the chicken and mix well .
7. Once it changes the colour add half cup water .
8. Check salt .
9. Cover and simmer for 10 mins .
10. Serve HOT with Green Biryani .
11. ( Green Biryani ).
