Kicked up Hummus
Ingredients:
1 can garbanzo beans
3 tbls. tahini
1 1/2 tsp. garlic, chopped
1 tbls. plus 1 tsp. lemon juice
1 tbls. plus 1 tsp lime juice
2 1/2 tsp. chipotle in adobo sauce, canned and chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 tbls. cilantro, chopped (i use parsley because i don't like the taste of cilantro)
1/2 cup plus 2 tbls. olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Put beans in processor and puree
2. Add tahini, garlic, lemon juice, lime juice, chipotles, salt, and cilantro On low, mix ingredients well while adding oil in a slow, steady stream
3. Season with salt and pepper
