For garlic lovers! Made something close to this working in a cafe, and tweaked it to my tastes. It's addicting.
Ingredients:
1 can garbanzo beans, drained
6 cloves garlic, pressed or diced
1/4 cup roasted tahini
1/4 cup olive oil
4 -5 teaspoons lemon juice, to taste
1 1/2 teaspoons cumin
1/2 teaspoon dried mint
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1. Add all ingredients except olive oil in food processor, blend.
2. Add olive oil to mixture until it's creamy and spreadable.
3. It's ok if it's a tiny bit chunky.
4. This hummus is best after 2 hours of refridgeration, to let flavors blend.
5. Eat with wheat pita bread, and enjoy!
