This is my favorite hummus recipe.
Ingredients:
400 g chickpeas ( rinsed and drained )
1 garlic clove crushed ( i use minced garlic )
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
1 tbsp tahini
3 tbsp olive oil
juice of 1/2 to 3/4 of a lemon
salt & pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Put chickpeas, garlic, cumin, coriander, tahini & olive oil in a food processor.
2. Squeeze in juice of 1/2 a lemon.
3. Process to a smooth puree.
4. Season with salt & pepper and more lemon if required ( to your taste ).
5. Serve :o)
