House Fried Rice

This fried rice is just like your favorite
Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups uncooked white rice
1 small onion, chopped
1 cup small shrimp, peeled
2 stalks of celery, chopped
1 freen bell pepper, chopped
1 cup cooked chicken breast, chopped
1/4 cup (or more) soy sauce
3 tbs. sesame oil
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/2 cup diced ham
1/2 cup green peas
1 egg, beaten
Directions:
1. Cook rice according to package directions and then cool to room temperature.
2. (The rest of the prep can be done while rice is cooling)
3. Heat wok or skillet over medium heat
4. add sesame oil and then stir in onion
5. fry until golden, then add garlic
6. when garlic is lightly browned, mix in shrimp, ham and chicken
7. continue to cook until shrimp are pink
8. lower heat to medium and stir in vegetables, frying until tender crisp
9. stir in beaten egg and cook until egg is scrambled and firm
10. mix rice with all ingredients and stir in soy sauce and adjust seasonings to your preference.
