Hot Pear Rice With Honey

This is amazing. So many great flavors going on here. This is good for breakfast, brunch or even a snack. We love it and hope you do too.
Ingredients:
1 cup uncooked long grain white rice
2-1/4 cup water
1/4 cup diced dried pear
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
3 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
thin slices of butter
1 fresh pear sliced
Directions:
1. Combine rice, water, dried pear, butter and salt in a medium sized saucepan.
2. Heat to boiling stirring well and cook covered over low heat for 20 minutes.
3. Add milk and cook over low heat stirring for 5 minutes.
4. Spoon into bowls and drizzle with a spiral of honey.
5. Sprinkle with cinnamon and add thin slivers of butter to melt on top of the cereal.
6. Top with the fresh fruit.
