Hot Oriental Dipping Sauce

Ingredients:
3/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
12 slices fresh ginger
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon hot sauce
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except cornstarch and cold water in a saucepan, simmer 5 minutes.
2. Dissolve cornstarch in cold water, add to pan.
3. Cook, stirring constantly for 1 minute.
4. Serve warm.
