This cake is better then sex, and oh so very rich. When it is finished cooking there is cake on top and fudge on the bottom. Its a little bit more work then a regular cake, but worth every bit of the effort. I made this cake in highschool home ec class, that was a very long time ago. Read more . Ingredients:
1 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup brown sugar
4 tablespoons cocoa
1 3/4 cup hot water
whip cream / ice cream, optional
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl combine the frist set of dry ingredients.
2. Add the liquid ingredients, mix well until smooth.
3. This will seen thick, its just the way it is suppose to be.
4. Spread in a 9 inch ungreased pan.
5. Combine brown sugar and cocoa.
6. Sprinkle evenly over the batter.
7. Pour the hot water gently over it all, do NOT stir.
8. Bake at 350 f. for 35 to 40 minutes.
9. Place cake pan on a cookie sheet to catch overflow of fudge!
10. Serve warm.
11. Top with whipped cream or ice cream.
