Hot Fudge Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup skim milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 3/4 cups hot water

Directions:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, 2 Tbls cocoa, baking powder and salt.
  2. Stir in the milk and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Spread in an ungreased 9-in square baking pan.
  4. Combine brown sugar and remaining cocoa; sprinkle over batter.
  5. Pour hot water over all; do not stir.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
  7. Serve warm.
  8. I like to serve it with frozen non-fat vanilla yogurt.
  9. Yield: 9 servings.
