Great for cold-weather holiday gatherings. Could also be made in the crockpot.
Ingredients:
16 oz can sliced peaches, drained
16 oz can pear halves, drained and chopped
16 oz can plums, drained and pitted
16 oz can apricot halves, drained
16 oz jar spiced apple rings, drained
20 oz can pineapple chunks, drained
6 oz jar cherries, drained
16 oz applesauce
6 t margarine
3/4 c firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp allspice
1/2 c chopped walnuts or pecans
Directions:
1. Combine first 7 ingredients; spread in 13x9 dish.
2. Combine applesauce, margarine, brown sugar and spices in saucepan; heat thoroughly. Spoon over fruit; sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 300 for 45 minutes.
