I serve this as a side for every holiday dinner. It is excellent with turkey at Thanksgiving and Christmas and equally as tasty with ham at Easter. I have also included it on brunch buffets. I have added fruit cocktail or sliced peaches to extend the number of servings. Leftovers can be topped with my Crunchy Granola and reheated as a fruit crisp, or used as a topping on oatmeal.
Ingredients:
1/2 lb dried prune
1/2 lb dried apricot
1/2 lb raisins
1/2 lb golden raisin
2 cans chunk pineapple, with juice
1 can mandarin orange, drained
1 can cherry pie filling
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in an oven safe casserole dish.
2. Bake at 350F for 1 hour.
