This is an old recipe that I've used for a long time. The level of heat depends on which peppers you use and how much chile pepper you like. Enjoy.
Ingredients:
3 (28 ounce) italian-style diced tomatoes
2 large onions
2 green peppers
2 bell peppers
2 poblano peppers (or hot banana peppers)
6 minced garlic cloves
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups white vinegar
3 tablespoons salt
1 teaspoon hot chili powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon clove
1 teaspoon nutmeg
Directions:
1. Chop all ingredients into small even pieces. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 1 1/2 hours or put in a crockpot and let cook for 8 hours on low.
