Oooooey Gooooey Cheesy Chicken Dip that sounded so good I couldn't resist posting this. Recipe4Living Have to make this for our annual Labor Day barbeque!
Ingredients:
1 bag tortilla chips, crushed (didn't specify size - just a regular size bag)
1 can of cream of chicken soup
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
1 medium onion chopped fine
3 or 4 jalapeno peppers chopped (use additional peppers if you like it hotter)
1 can of chicken meat (12 ounce) or 1-1/2 cups chopped chicken meat
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
tortilla chips or flour tortillas for serving
Directions:
1. In a large ovenproof bowl, mix all the ingredients except the cheddar cheese. Bake at 325 degrees for 30-45 minutes. Put the cheese on top and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until melted. Serve with additional tortilla chips as a dip or can be put on flour tortillas and wrapped.
