This is not a recipe but an honorable mention as I said for Safeway's new Apple Cinnamon Danish in the refrigerated secion. I frequently bake things for my parents as it makes their day and puts a smile on everybody's face. Read more . So, if you don't feel like getting the yeast, flour and your rolling pin out; you can find these at most Vons stores. I baked mine in my 8 x 8 silicone baking pan and they came out great. Enjoy! Directions:
1. Open the pouch of apple filling that comes with each roll and drop several tablespoons in the center of each roll and bake until browned.
2. Just bake on a silicone baking sheet or regular baking sheet for about 15 minutes or until browned. Cool slightly then drizzle with some vanilla icing.
3. I'd never thought of taking pie fillings and putting them in the middle of a homebaked roll, but I'll try it with other more compex recipes!
