Honuran Ponche De Pina (Hot Pineapple Punch)

Ingredients:
3 pineapple
3 cups water
3 cinnamon sticks
2 teaspoons whole cloves
2 teaspoons whole allspice
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup coconut milk
1 quart light rum
Directions:
1. Peel pineapples; chop or shred.
2. Add water and let stand overnight.
3. Put in large saucepan with spices, sugar, and coconut milk.
4. Boil for 5 minutes.
5. Strain liquid into large pitcher.
6. Add rum and serve hot.
7. NOTE: If fresh coconut milk is not available, pour sweet milk over shredded coconut.
8. Let stand for several hours.
9. Squeeze through a cloth.
10. Woman's Day.
