slow cooker recipe. Goes well with grilled corn, rice or cowboy baked beans.
Ingredients:
1 can condensed beef consomme
1/2 cup of water
3 tbs. soy sauce
3tbs. hickory smoked liquid
2 tbs. honey
2 tbs. maple syrup
2tbs. barbecue sauce
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 clove of fresh garlic mashed
2 pounds pork baby back ribs, trimmed.
Directions:
1. combine all ingredients except ribs in slow cooker; mix well.
2. Cut ribs into 3- to 4- ribs portions. Add ribs to slow cooker. (If ribs are especially fatty, broil 10 minutes before adding to slow cooker.) Cover;cook on Low 6 to 8 hours or on High 4 to 6 hours or until ribs are tender.
3. Cut into individual pieces. Serve with sauce.
