Honey Cupcakes With Orange Icing

I don't know what I was thinking when coming up with this but I'm glad I went with it, they are yummers! The icing is a variation of my mother's recipe, she puts it on angel food cake.
Ingredients:
cupcakes
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. sea salt
1/3 c. skim milk
2 eggs
1/4 c. applesauce
1/4 c. olive oil
2/3 c. honey
1/2 tsp. vanilla
icing
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 t. orange juice
1/2 tsp. orange extract
1/2 tsp. orange zest
Directions:
1. Mix ingredients for icing. (You want to do this first, the longer it sits the thicker it gets)
2. Mix all cupcake ingredients in a bowl until well blended.
3. Pour into paper-lined muffin trays.
4. Bake at 375 F for 20 min.
5. Drizzle with icing.
