Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk
  • 5 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup crisco
  • 1/2 cup cold butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Mix flour with milk and boil until thick.
  2. (It will be very thick) Cool.
  3. Beat until fluffy and add other ingredients one at a time beating well after each addition.
  4. Put between layers of cooled cake.
  5. Let stand one day to develop flavor.
  6. I wrap individually in plastic wrap.
