A delicious granola recipe that packs in a lot of flavour! Be prepared to leave your pre-packaged cereals behind!
Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup coconut flakes
3 tbsp flax seeds
3 tbsp sesame seeds
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup almonds
2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp maple syrup
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup dried raisins
1 cup dried apricots
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375.
2. Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil.
3. In a large bowl combine all ingredients except dried fruit. Stir well.
4. Spread the mixture on the prepared baking sheet in an even layer.
5. Bake 20 to 30 minutes (depending on the depth of goldenness you are looking for), stirring every 10 min.
6. Remove from oven and let cool completely.
7. Once cool, stir in the dried fruit.
