Homemade Granola

Easy, delicious, a must have for hikers or campers!
Ingredients:
4 cups quick oats
1 cup sliced almonds (optional)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons sugar
4 teaspoons vanilla
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 300.
2. Spray a large cookie sheet with cooking spray.
3. Mix oats, nuts, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon in a small bowl.
4. Combine honey, oil, and sugar in small saucepan over medium heat until heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
5. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
6. Pour over oat mixture, stir well.
7. Spread onto sheet and bake 30 mins or until golden. Stir occasionally, every 5 mins or so, to avoid burn spots.
8. Let cool for 15-20 mins and break up. Store in an airtight container.
