Homemade Amaretto Almond Liqueur

Ingredients:
1 cup light karo syrup
1 cup sugar
2 cups vodka
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 -1 1/2 tablespoon almond extract
1/2 cup whole almond
Directions:
1. Place the Karo syrup and sugar in a saucepan and dissolve together over medium heat until well combined.
2. Cool about 15 minutes.
3. Add the rest of the ingredients, stirring well.
4. Pour into a jar or bottle and let sit for about 2 weeks in a dark spot until well blended.
