perfect for dipping some bacons, hams, chicken, and many more
Ingredients:
2 egg yolks
5 ml dijon mustard= 1 teaspoon
300 mml olive oil= 1/2 pt
juice of 1 lemon
salt and pepper
Directions:
1. place egg yolks in bowl. add mustard and mix well, season with salt and pepper
2. add oil drop by drop,mixing constantly with whisk. when mayonnaise begin to thicken, add oil in steady stream, whisking constantly
3. add lemon juice only after mayonnaise is very thick
4. NOTE: to keep mayonnaise for 2 days in refrigerator, add 15 ml (1 tablespoon) hot wawter. whisk well
