1 1/2 cups cooked grits(cooked according to package directions) |
2 slices of american cheese |
1 or 2 sliced green onions (more or less to taste)(single not the whole bunch! lol) |

pinch of garlic powder |
couple of dashes of hot sauce(more if you want a hotter version) |
dash of tony’s or other cajun blend |
1/3 cup mexican blend shredded cheese |
egg wash |
1 egg |
1/4 cup milk |
dash hot sauce |
breading |
1 cup italian style bread crumbs |
dash coarse ground black pepper |
cream sauce |
2 tablespoons butter |
1/2 cup heavy cream |
leaves from celery(i used about 2 teaspoons) |
few dashes of hot sauce |
1/4 teaspoon oregano (i used dried) |
pinch garlic salt |
1/4 teaspoon tony’s or other cajun blend |
(if you want you can add a little diced jalapeno to spice it up!) |
vegetable oil for frying |
