This Almond Brittle with four ingredients on the stove top is ready in about 30 minutes. Almonds, sugar, honey and butter are combined to make this delightful holiday treat.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
2 tablespoons butter
1 lb almonds, chopped
Directions:
1. In a heavy skillet, heat the sugar over low heat until it has melted and is slightly browned, making sure it doesn't burn.
2. Add the honey and butter; simmer for 20 minutes. Stir in the nuts and cook for 10 minutes.
3. Line a platter or pan with wax paper and drop tablespoonfuls of the brittle onto the paper.
4. Let it harden, break into pieces and serve.
