Hershey's Chocolate Pecan Pie

I've been making this pie since I was in high school. It is very popular with my family especially at the holidays. It even makes a good chocolate pie if you want to leave out the nuts.
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup cocoa (hershey's)
3 eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 cup light corn syrup
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup pecan halves
1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350°F
2. Stir together sugar and cocoa in medium bowl.
3. Add eggs, corn syrup, butter and vanilla; stir until well blended.
4. Stir in pecans.
5. Pour into unbaked pie crust.
6. Bake 60 minutes or until set.
7. Remove from oven to wire rack.
8. Cool completely.
9. Garnish with whipped topping.
