Instead of simply serving bread alongside stew, why not whip up a batch of these seasoned pita bread chips? They're a fun and flavorful addition to any meal.
Ingredients:
4 pita breads (6 inches)
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Directions:
1. Place pita breads on an ungreased baking sheet; brush with butter. Combine basil and thyme; sprinkle over pitas. Cut each into eight wedges. Bake at 400° for 8-10 minutes or until crisp. Yield: 6 servings.
