Light texture; good served with dinner or made into croutons or used for stuffing.
Ingredients:
1 1/8 cups water
1 1/2 tablespoons nut oil or 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cups bread flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon gluten
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon dried marjoram
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried tarragon
2 teaspoons fast rising yeast (or 2 1/2 t. bread machine yeast) or 2 teaspoons instant yeast (or 2 1/2 t. bread machine yeast)
1 1/2 cups water
2 tablespoons nut oil or 2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cups bread flour
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon gluten, plus
1 teaspoon gluten
2 teaspoons salt
1 1/4 teaspoons dried marjoram
1 1/4 teaspoons dried basil
1 1/4 teaspoons dried tarragon
2 1/4 teaspoons fast rising yeast (or 2 3/4 t. bread machine yeast) or 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast (or 2 3/4 t. bread machine yeast)
Directions:
1. Add all ingredients to pan according to the order in the manufacturer’s directions.
2. Set crust on medium or dark and program for the Basic cycle; press Start.
3. When the baking cycle ends, immediately remove the bread from the pan and place it on a rack; let cool to room temperature before slicing.
