Heirloom Tomato Salad With Tomato Granita

Can't have enough tomato recipes this time of year and this one is excellent
Ingredients:
granita
1tbs.red wine vinegar
2tsp extra virgin olive oil
1/4tsp kosher salt
8 oz. seeded peeled heirloom tomato
salad
4 assorted heirloom tomatoes,cut into 1/4 -thick slices(about 2lbs.)
1/2tsp fresh ground black pepper
1/4tsp kosher salt
1tbs thin sliced fresh basil
Directions:
1. Granita: Place vinegar,oil,1/4tsp salt and seeded peeled tomato in a blender or food processor,process till smooth. Place tomato mixture into an 8 square baking dish;cover and freeze till firm,stirring twice during first 2 hours. Remove mixture from freezer;scrape entire mixture with a fork till fluffy.
2. Salad: Arrange tomatoe slices on a platter. Sprinkle tomoatoes with pepper and 1/4tsp salt. Top with granita. Sprinkle with basil.
