Serve this in those new dessert dishes you just bought on sale! Ingredients:
2 eggs |
1-1/2 cups powdered sugar |
3/4 cup plain flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1 cup chopped nuts |
1 cup chopped dates |
2 cups heavy cream whipped (dream whip or whipping cream) |
Directions:
1. Beat eggs & sugar together]
2. Add flour & baking powder
3. Beat until smooth
4. Stir in dates & nuts
5. Pour into greased & floured 8 inch pan
6. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes
7. Cool and remove from pan
8. About 30 minutes before serving, break cake into small pieces into the whipped cream.
9. Serve in dessert dishes garnished with maraschino cherries.
