HEAVENLY CHEESECAKE BROWNIES This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Reinhart Estate in Ida, Oklahoma in 1992. These are easy and OK, but not my favorite brownie. Ingredients:
1 packet fudge brownie mix |
8 ounces cream cheese softened |
1/3 cup sugar |
1 egg |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Prepare brownie mix as directed on package then pour into greased baking pan.
2. Beat cream cheese until smooth then add sugar and mix until blended.
3. Add egg and vanilla then mix just until blended.
4. Pour cream cheese mixture over brownie mixture.
5. Cut through batter with knife for marble effect then bake at 350 for 35 minutes.
6. Cool and cut into squares.
