Hearty Healthy Prune Nut Breakfast Bread

Old recipe. Quick bread. Easy. Delicious. Hearty. Healthy. Whole wheat flour. Dark molasses. Prunes. Brown sugar. Corn meal. Buttermilk. Nuts. Delicious.
Ingredients:
2 cups buttermilk
1/2 cup dark molasses (i use grandma's)
2 cups cooked, mashed prunes
2 cups whole wheat flour
1-1/2 cups white flour
1 teaspoon soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup corn meal
1 cup nuts, chopped
Directions:
1. In large bowl, with wooden spoon, mix buttermilk, molasses, prunes
2. In another bowl, whisk all dry ingredients together
3. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients
4. Divide and place in two greased loaf pans
5. Let stand for 15 minutes
6. Bake at 350 or 375 for 1 hour
7. Remove from pans, cool
8. Slice, when ready to serve
