This is a very hearty dinner salad with a lot of choices that you can make to make it your own - whatever you like best, you can do with this salad. The Add-in choices for veggies are as follows: 1. Apples, green onions, and Greek Feta Crumbles Cheese 2. red onions, tomatoes and blue cheese 3. tomatoes, green pepper, black olives and Mozzarella shreds 4. Walnuts, onions and Parmesan shreds. So much fun to try these salads like this - Enjoy!!
Ingredients:
1 lb meat, cut into strips (chicken breasts, boneless skinless, sirloin steak, deli ham, or meatless, mushrooms - 10oz)
6 cups mixed salad greens
2 -3 cups vegetables
1/4 cup salad dressing (greek with feta and oregano, zesty italian, sundried tomato & oregano, raspberry vinaigrette)
Directions:
1. Cut meat into strips and cook in a small amount of the dressing that you have selected. Cook through. Then set aside.
2. Place 6 cups mixed salad green in a large bowl.
3. Add 2-3 cups vegetables or fruit, or a combination of both, and meat to greens. Toss with dressing.
