Healthy Orange and Date Muffins

Lo calorie but very tasty treat which got me through many a dark diet month!
Ingredients:
1 cup carrot (grated)
2/3 cup dates (chopped)
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1 1/2 cups wheat bran
1 1/2 cups plain flour
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 egg (lightly beaten)
2 tablespoons butter (melted)
1 1/2 cups orange juice
1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 200°C.
2. In a large bowl combine bran, flour, sugar, sunflower seeds, baking powder and bicarb.
3. In a medium bowl,combine carrots, dates, orange juice, orange zest,egg and melted butter.
4. Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients and pour the wet ingredients into the centre.
5. Mix lightly untill all ingredients combined. Don't overmix, the mixture can still be a bit lumpy and this will make the muffins lighter.
6. Spoon into a muffin tin, don't use paper cases, just brush the tin lightly with melted butter.
7. Bake in oven for 20 minutes or until skewer insterted into the centre comes out clean.
