A quick way to make boxed brownies more healthy!
Ingredients:
1 (20 ounce) box brownie mix
1/4 cup water
2/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/4 cup egg substitute (equal to one egg)
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
cooking spray
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and spray baking pan.
2. Put brownie mix in a medium sized bowl.
3. Add water, applesauce, egg substitute, and baking soda.
4. Mix well and pour into greased pan.
5. Bake for 25 minutes for a 9x13 pan, or 30 minutes for a 9x9 pan.
6. Optional: top with chocolate cool whip or dust with icing sugar!
