Healthy Banana Nut Muffins

Tasty low sugar muffins. You can add the brown sugar or leave it out. I use large silicone muffin pans and get 11 muffins.
Ingredients:
4 bananas
1 cup applesauce
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups whole wheat pastry flour
1/2 cup ground flax seed
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
Directions:
1. Mix the bananas, applesauce & eggs together (and sugar if you are using it). In a separate bowl mix all other dry ingredients, combine with banana mixture and nuts. Dont over mix
2. Bake at 350F for about 20 minutes.
