Banana bread made with healthy alternative ingredients. Soft, ripe bananas work best.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup applesauce
1 tablespoon oil (canola)
4 mashed bananas
1 egg, lightly beaten
Directions:
1. Combine dry ingredients and wet ingredients seperatly and then stir together. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
