Ingredients:

  • 4 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1/2 cup natural, no trans-fat shortening
  • 5 tbsp low-fat (1%) milk
  • 1 dash natural food coloring, if desired

Directions:

  1. Beat confectioners' sugar and shortening together in a large bowl until smooth. Gradually mix in milk and vanilla extract with an electric mixer, until smooth and stiff, about 5 minutes. Color with food coloring.
