Health Smart Belgian Waffles

Light, fluffy, yummy and a little more heart smart than their white flour counter part.
Ingredients:
3 eggs, separated
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup white flour
1/2 cup oatmeal
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1/2 cup oil
3 cups milk
Directions:
1. Beat egg whites until stiff.
2. Combine all dry ingredients.
3. Beat in oil, egg yolks, and milk.
4. Lightly fold in egg whites.
5. Cook in a lightly greased waffle iron until gold brown.
6. Serve with syrup or fruit sauce, or my favorite with ice cream and fruit sauce.
