I received a jiffy mix recipe book. Everyone loved this easy dessert.
Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) box jiffy yellow cake mix
1 egg
1/2 cup water
1 (3 1/2 ounce) box vanilla instant pudding mix
1 cup milk
4 ounces cream cheese
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple
1 (12 ounce) container whipped topping
Directions:
1. Prepare cake mix as directed on package.
2. Bake in greased 9x13x1 pan for 20 minutes.
3. Topping:.
4. Mix pudding mix, milk, and cream cheese together.
5. Spread over cooled cake.
6. Drain pineapple and spread over pudding mixture.
7. Spread whipped topping over pineapple.
8. Sprinkle with coconut, if desired.
9. Chill and serve.
