From Carnation Evaporated Milk can. Ingredients:
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded |
6 large eggs, well beaten (or egg substitute) |
12 ounces evaporated milk, fat-free |
1 teaspoon salt |
30 ounces shredded hash brown potatoes, thawed |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1 small red bell pepper, chopped |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Grease 13 x 9-inch baking pan. 3. Combine cheese, eggs, evaporated milk, salt and pepper. Add potatoes, onion, and bell pepper. Mix well. Pour mixture into prepared pan. 4. Bake for 60 to 65 minutes or until set. 5. Option: add 10 slices of turkey bacon, cooked and chopped |
