I came across this recipe just a little while ago.
Ingredients:
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon grated orange peel
black pepper
ground allspice
1 (16 ounce) can sliced beets, drained, liquid reserved
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
1 tablespoon orange juice
Directions:
1. Combine cornstarch, salt, orange peel, pepper and allspice in 1 quart casserole dish. Blend in reserved 1/3 cup beet juice, vinegar and orange juice.
2. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until heated.
