Homemade Hamburger Helper! A childhood favorite.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1/2 onion, diced
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup water
1/2 cup rice
1 teaspoon beef bouillon powder
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
salt
pepper
Directions:
1. Brown together beef, onion and garlic.
2. When meat is cooked and onions are translucent, stir in flour until well distributed.
3. Allow flour to brown slightly.
4. Add remaining ingredients.
5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover.
6. Simmer 15 minutes or until rice is cooked.
